The Lebanese President Michel Aoun received at the Baabda Palace in Beirut the Secretary General of the Muslim World League Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Alissa, who is currently visiting Lebanon. The meeting emphasized the importance of radiating the spiritual being to promote the values of peace and harmony among all strata of society under the notion of a single human family, and the need to support its ties and cooperation.
The Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Mr. Nabih Berri, also received the Secretary-General today. The two sides discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
The Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri received in Beirut His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Alissa,during which he discussed bilateral cooperation and coordination.
Prime Minister Hariri hosted a dinner banquet in honor of His Excellency the Secretary General and his accompanying delegation.
