The Secretary General of the League, President of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Mohammed Alissa intervened via videoconference as the main speaker during the meeting on interreligious dialogue, held in the Italian capital, Rome, in order to implement the main provisions of the peace plan for the region relating to dialogue between religions.
The SG represented the Islamic dialogue, while the Christian dialogue was represented by Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, and the Jewish dialogue by Grand Rabbi Pinchas Goldschmidt, President of the Conference of European Rabbis.
