Extremist thought is a symptom of intolerance & hatred. The MWL's initiatives aim to build bridges between communities to promote cross-cultural understanding, tackling extremism at its root.

Mirkaz Al-Balad Al-Ameen hosted His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the (MWL), in a discussion session on 'Shaping the Islamic Personality'

The award seeks to highlight outstanding efforts in the field of Qur’anic recitation and education worldwide

His Excellency stated:

"The meaning of our human brotherhood is a sure bet to remove obstacles, narrow gaps, extend bridges, and strengthens our resolve to act on our human commonalities which constitute natural law."
