The Secretary General of the Muslim World League had a lunch meeting with the Vatican secretary of state

His Excellency the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, had a lunch meeting with the Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin. During the meeting, a number of issues of common interest were discussed, especially bilateral cooperation in the field of supporting the programs of civilizational alliance among nations and peoples. Among these programs is the one related to the optimal coexistence in societies of religious, cultural and ethnic diversity in the light of the commonalities among all, based on the understanding of the divine wisdom in creating difference and diversity. The existence of difference and diversity does not mean the inevitability of conflict among civilizations, as the pessimistic and erroneous theories hold.
His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin commended the successful and exceptional meeting between His Excellency the Secretary General, President of the Association of Muslim Scholars, and the Pope of the Vatican.
