At the MWL headquarters in Makkah, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the MWL and the Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, met with His Eminence Sheikh Mohammed Amir, the Grand Mufti of New Zealand.
During the meeting, several issues related to the Muslim minority in New Zealand were discussed, in the context of emphasizing the importance of the Islamic component being a high model of ideal coexistence with everyone. In the same context, His Excellency the Secretary-General praised the distinguished reputation of New Zealand Muslims.
