His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, welcomed an academic delegation of Harvard University graduates. The delegation was led by Lt. Gen. Karl Eikenberry, former US Ambassador to Afghanistan.
Dr. Al-Issa shared Islamic and legal perspectives on several pressing issues, notably the Palestinian situation and its distressing developments. Both parties emphasized the significance of promoting relationships between nations and peoples. They particularly highlighted the importance of building civilizational alliances to counteract theories of civilizational clash and conflict, which pose threats to all.
