In his office in Riyadh, His Excellency Sheikh Dr.Mohammed Alissa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, met with Her Excellency Ms. Mushaal Mullick, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Human Rights and Women Empowerment. 
During their meeting, they discussed several issues concerning women's empowerment within Islamic guidelines. Ms. Mullick commended the principles of the Makkah Charter for its role in unifying Islamic principles that support women's empowerment and the protection of their rights.
