At his residence in Washington DC, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, received Ms. Lise Grande, President and CEO of the U.S. Institute of Peace. During the meeting, they discussed a number of topics of mutual interest.

Following the meeting, the Institute hosted Dr. Al-Issa for an in-depth dialogue, attended by its employees. This session covered several pressing issues, including the tragic and horrific situation in Gaza. They also delved into intellectual, research, and forward-looking topics related to the MWL’s work, emphasizing its global role on influential international platforms to represent the scholarly and intellectual perspectives of the Islamic Ummah.
