His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, met with His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Nazir Muhammad Ayad, Grand Mufti of Egypt

As part of the framework of launching the initiative on #GirlsEducationMatters in Muslim Communities:
At his residence in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, met with His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Nazir Muhammad Ayad, Grand Mufti of Egypt.
During the meeting, they discussed various issues pertinent to the initiative as well as other topics of mutual interest.
Dr. Al-Issa extended his congratulations to His Eminence the Mufti for the significant and well-earned trust placed in him by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, through his appointment as Mufti of Egypt.
He offered prayers for Allah the Almighty to grant His Eminence success and to bless his endeavors. He emphasized that His Eminence’s involvement in this conference—supported by the Pakistani government through sponsorship and significant participation, along with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, international Fiqh councils and academies, ministers of education and higher education, as well as officials from educational institutions in Islamic countries and relevant international governmental and non-governmental organizations—represents a significant contribution.
Dr. Al-Issa expressed his gratitude to His Eminence for his comprehensive address during the scholars' session, which is central to addressing the key controversies of the conference’s theme.
