Albania: His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa delivered the Eid sermon
His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa , the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, delivers the Eid sermon at the invitation of the President of Albania, at the Great Mosque of Tirana in the capital of Albania.
His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa , the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars stated:
“Benevolence is a defining trait of a Muslim’s identity, manifesting through service to faith, fellow believers, and all of humanity.
Guided by the values of Islam, Muslims embrace all with kindness, wish well for others, unite hearts, give generously, spread happiness, forgive, and alleviate hardships without causing harm.
A Muslim naturally embodies noble character; hardships, difficulties, and adversity only serve to elevate his integrity, resilience, and grace.
Every Muslim cares about the reputation of Islam. However, true and meaningful devotion is demonstrated through being a good ambassador of the faith—upholding its firm principles and lofty values, remaining steadfast regardless of circumstances, whims, emotions, or provocations.
Many Muslims contribute positively to the reputation of Islam and Muslims through their kind words, good behavior, and by uniting hearts. As Allah the Almighty said, 'And by the Mercy of Allah, you dealt with them gently. And had you (Muhammad) been severe and harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from you'.
Allah sent our Prophet and Master (peace be upon him) with a sound innate disposition—the disposition of monotheism—and with exalted values, namely the virtues of noble character.
The esteemed people of Albania have exemplified a high civilizational model through their devotion to faith, social harmony, peace, and a distinguished model of noble character.
If we consider a generation that elevated its nation, it is because behind it all lies righteous upbringing. And when we speak of righteous upbringing, its most essential pillar is a righteous woman.”
