On the 15th of Ramadan and in March of this year, the United Nations General Assembly selected His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa to serve as the in-person spokesperson for the Muslim world within the United Nations Hall in New York.
This took place during the inaugural UN observance of the International Day to Combat Islamophobia.
