At the Muslim World League headquarters in Makkah, H.E. Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa met with H.E. Dr. Firdavs Abduhalikov, President of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan.

At the headquarters of the Muslim World League (MWL) in Makkah, H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-issa 
, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, met with H.E. Dr. Firdavs Abduhalikov, President of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, and his accompanying delegation.

H.E. Dr. Al-Issa emphasized the importance of the Center in highlighting Islamic civilization, particularly in addressing misconceptions and negative phenomena.

Speaking on behalf of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the President of the Center expressed his pride in the efforts of the Muslim World League, and in the widespread respect and recognition it enjoys both within the Islamic world and internationally.

In his remarks, the President of the Center also commended the speech of H.E. the Secretary-General, representing the Muslim world, at the first United Nations commemoration of the International Day to Combat Islamophobia, held at the United Nations Headquarters at the invitation of the General Assembly.
