On the Occasion of a Grand Official Reception Marking the MWL’s First-Ever Visit to Afghanistan

The Prime Minister of Afghanistan Receives the Secretary-General of the MWL in the Capital, Kabul

Kabul:
At Gul Khana Palace in the Presidential Compound in the capital, Kabul, Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund, Prime Minister of Afghanistan, received His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars.

During the meeting, both sides discussed a range of issues of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on the vital role of Muslim scholars in addressing major contemporary challenges through constructive dialogue—leading to outcomes of meaningful and tangible impact.

His Excellency Dr. Al-Issa arrived yesterday in Kabul on an official visit to meet with senior government leaders and scholars. The MWL delegation was received by several of Their Excellencies and Eminences, including dignitaries, senior government officials, prominent scholars, and the Director General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Office in Kabul.
