As the Guest of Honor at the Eighth Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, H.E. Dr. Al-Issa joined H.E. the President of Kazakhstan in attending the opening session of the summit at the Palace of Independence.

H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, served as the Guest of Honor at the Eighth Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held in Kazakhstan.

H.E. delivered a speech in which he addressed the alarming international transformations that have exacerbated numerous tragedies and challenges, undermining global order and threatening the cohesion of international legitimacy. In this context, he highlighted the vital spiritual influence of religious leaders, stressing the importance of their active role in peacemaking and in raising global awareness that conflict and confrontation only produce harm that affects all. His speech also focused on the situation in the Gaza Strip, underscoring that genocide and organized criminal starvation constitute—by any humanitarian description—a stain on the conscience of the international community.
