At his residence in Islamabad:
the Secretary General of the World Islamic League, President of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Mohammed Al-issa received M. Yahya Afridi, President of the Supreme Court.
The President of the Court praised Sheikh Alissa's prominent role in highlighting the truths of Islamic law in the face of campaigns of Islamophobia, while expressing appreciation for her efforts to promote the concept of inclusive citizenship and the fairness of her laws, including in minority protection matter. He also stressed the relevance of Islamic principles concerning rights and duties, particularly the Islamic framework of freedoms, as presented by the Secretary-General through various international forums, academic institutions, research and thought centers.
The President of the Supreme Court has invited the SG to visit the court seat to be honored in the presence of the judges and to give a lecture on the topics that have been praised and acknowledged.
