H.E. the Secretary-General of the MWL Meets with Scholars from the Republic of Sudan

Port Sudan:

H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, met with a delegation of scholars from the Republic of Sudan in the presence of Prof. Kamil Idris, Prime Minister of the Republic of Sudan.

The meeting comes within the framework of Dr. Al-Issa’s official visit to the Republic of Sudan, which included several meetings and bilateral agreements on a number of legal, social, cultural, relief, and development issues.

During the meeting, a number of topics of mutual interest were discussed, particularly the role of scholars in strengthening national unity and promoting religious awareness among all segments of Sudanese society.
