The President of the Senate of Spain Receives the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League

Madrid:

H.E. Mr. Pedro Manuel Rollán Ojeda, President of the Senate of Spain, received H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, at the Senate headquarters in Madrid.

The meeting addressed avenues for strengthening cooperation between the MWL and the Senate of Spain, as well as a range of issues of mutual interest. Discussions focused in particular on the importance of fostering effective dialogue and communication between civilizations and cultures, and on advancing shared efforts to promote peace, harmony, and resilience in the face of challenges that may lead to civilizational tensions.

H.E. Mr. Rollán Ojeda commended the initiatives of the Muslim World League in serving Muslim minorities and supporting their positive engagement within their national societies.
