This evening… in the Rwandan capital:

H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, presided over the second meeting of the Council of African Scholars, hosted by the Republic of Rwanda. The Council includes a distinguished group of scholars from across the African continent.

The meeting focused on methods to enhance religious awareness among youth and on adopting scientific metrics to measure the outcomes of the programs designed for this purpose. Among these is the implementation—approved at the first meeting—of the Charter of Makkah within religious education curricula and training programs.
