The Australian National Imams Council, represented by its President, H.E. Sheikh Shady Al-Suleiman, hosted a luncheon in honor of H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars.
The luncheon was attended by H.E. Mr. Tony Burke, Federal Minister for Home Affairs and Leader of the House; H.E. Mr. Jason Clare, Federal Minister for Education; H.E. Mr. Jihad Dib, NSW Minister for Customer Service, Digital Government, Emergency Services and Youth; and H.E. Ms. Sophie Cotsis, NSW Minister for Industrial Relations, along with a number of government and parliamentary officials and Islamic leaders.
H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General, held a meeting with senior Malaysian scholars from across the states, led by H.E. Sheikh Ahmad Fauwaz Fadzil, Grand Imam and Grand Mufti of Malaysia
