At his residence in New Delhi, His Excellency Sheikh Dr.Mohammed Alissa received His Eminence Sheikh Abdullah Saud Salafi, General-Secretary of Jamiah Salafiah (Markazi Darul Uloom).
During the meeting, several topics were discussed including the role of the university in teaching useful knowledge to the students, especially the values of tolerance and mercy of Islam to the world, and the importance of optimal coexistence and mutual respect among the diverse Indian society. Sheikh Salafi affirmed that they are keen to teach their students those Islamic values and national principles at the university to enhance religious awareness, and to draw from the glorious texts of Sharia, stressing that they benefited from the Charter of Makkah that was approved by muftis and scholars of the Islamic Ummah, and that the university considers it an important resource.
