His Excellency Sheikh Dr. MohammedAl-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, met with His Eminence Sheikh Yahya Pallavicini, President of the Italian COREIS (Islamic Religious Community) and the European Muslim Leaders Majlis (EULEMA). This organization, based in Brussels, includes representatives from 22 European countries, comprising of senior imams, heads of Islamic centers, and leaders. The meeting discussed several Islamic issues, most notably the tragic events in the Gaza Strip, Islamic legislative opinion issuance, and the Islamic councils established by the MWL to unify the perspectives of senior Muslim scholars on major issues. Additionally, the meeting praised the #MakkahCharter for representing a qualitative shift in serving Muslims worldwide, including Muslim minorities. It emphasized the importance of enhancing Islam's perception, confronting the challenges of Islamophobia, and addressing its roots through wise and practical applications of Islam's noble values. His Eminence Sheikh Pallavicini lauded the MWL's global discourse for being the contemporary key to understanding and respecting Islamic perspectives and Muslims.
