His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa met with Ms. Gréta Gunnarsdóttir, the Director of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) Representative Office in New York

In the context of some international, religious, and dialogue discussions and events with several US Congress members and prominent intellectuals, and on the sidelines of the inauguration of the meeting of the Founding Council of Islamic Leaders in the Americas: At his residence in New York, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, met with Ms. Gréta Gunnarsdóttir, the Director of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) Representative Office in New York. During the meeting, the agency's work in the relief and assistance of Palestinian refugees was reviewed, particularly its work in the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. They also discussed promoting avenues of cooperation between the MWL and the UNRWA office.
