His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa opens the meeting of the Founding Council of Islamic Leaders in the Americas at the Islamic Center in Washington, D.C.

His Excellency Sheikh Dr.Mohammed Al-Issa, attended the meeting of the Founding Council of Islamic Leaders in the Americas, the first council of its kind in the history of the Americas which encompasses the Islamic sects that have approved the Charter of Makkah.

The meeting touched on the practical programs of the Charter of Makkah and their dissemination among tens of millions of members of the Muslim community.

The council discussed future plans and emphasized strengthening communication between Islamic institutions and coordinating their joint efforts.
