His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Alissa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, received an invitation to visit Iraq from the office of the Prime Minister of Iraq. His Excellency Muhammad Samir Al-Naqshbandi, Consul General and Representative of Iraq in Saudi Arabia, presented the invitation to Dr. Al-Issa during their meeting earlier today.
Last Ramadan in Makkah, under the generous patronage of the #CustodianOfTheTwoHolyMosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah safeguard him, the Muslim World League hosted the Conference on Building Bridges Between Islamic Schools of Thought and Sects. This event concluded with the issuance of the Charter on Building Bridges.
Additionally, the MWL organized the Forum on Iraqi References in Makkah.
