Madinah: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah, opened new facilities in Madinah Museum
At the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography, which is affiliated with the Muslim World League and located near the Prophet’s Mosque, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz launched the newly modernized facilities in the museum’s headquarters. His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Museums of the Prophet’s Biography attended this launch.
The newly modernized facilities include the "Taybah: Lights and Legacy" pavilion, the "Ithaf" digital platform, and scientific encyclopedias on the Prophetic biography, and the "Prophet’s Mosque: As If You See It" exhibit.
The "Taybah: Lights and Legacy" pavilion features a detailed presentation about the noble city of Madinah. It showcases the most significant historical and social landmarks and relics of Madinah during the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The pavilion offers a panoramic display of the Noble Chamber (Al-Hujrah Al-Nabawiyyah), a simulation of the construction of the Prophet’s Mosque, a tent dedicated to prophetic medicine, and a depiction of the Prophet’s daily routine, all through a rich interactive experience that makes you feel as if you are living the events of the noble Prophetic biography yourself.
The digital platform 'Ithaf' serves as a contemporary, interactive portal that enables visitors to explore the Prophet's biography via virtual tours. It also provides access to a comprehensive scientific library and encyclopedias dedicated to the Holy Quran and the Noble Sunnah, featuring over 350 books and publications translated into key international languages. Additionally, visitors have the opportunity to stay updated on the latest news regarding the museum and related initiatives, facilitating the sharing of the Prophet’s biography through innovative and modern methods.
