Today, His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Sarhan, Advisor and Coordinating Commissioner of the Muslim World League to the Vatican, participated in the inauguration ceremony of Pope Leo XIV.

Today, His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Sarhan, Advisor and Coordinating Commissioner of the Muslim World League to the Vatican, participated in the inauguration ceremony of Pope Leo XIV.

His Excellency also received an invitation extended by the Pope to attend a special reception for representatives of religious leaders at the Vatican, scheduled to be held tomorrow, Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Pope’s residence.

In addition, a special meeting was hosted by the President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue and its members, during which a variety of interrelated topics were discussed. The meeting also praised the MWL’s global role and its shared objectives around the world.
