Sudanese Prime Minister Receives the Secretary-General of the MWL

‏The two sides held an official round of talks on the role of scholars in clarifying the true principles of Islam and in promoting religious awareness and community security

His Excellency Prof. Kamil Idris, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Sudan, received His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, who arrived in Sudan on an official visit heading a delegation from the MWL.

The Prime Minister and the Secretary-General held an official round of talks, attended by members of the Council of Ministers and senior government advisers.

The discussions focused on the role of scholars in clarifying the true principles of Islam, thereby contributing to the promotion of religious awareness and community security.

His Excellency the Prime Minister praised the strong credibility and significant influence enjoyed by the MWL and the Organization of Muslim Scholars, both within the Islamic world and beyond.
