To strengthen cooperation in serving and promoting the Arabic language, and to preserve authentic linguistic identity

To strengthen cooperation in serving and promoting the Arabic language, and to preserve authentic linguistic identity:

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, along with His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi, the Secretary-General of the King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language, witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Muslim World League and the Academy. The agreement aims to develop cooperation in the fields of serving and teaching the Arabic language, promoting its use, preserving its integrity, and establishing a general framework for joint activities that achieve mutual benefit.

The areas of cooperation also include the digitization of the Arabic language through the development of digital solutions, linguistic corpora, and electronic dictionaries; teaching Arabic to non-native speakers through the “Minhaj” application affiliated with the #MuslimWorldLeague; language proficiency testing; as well as the exchange of information and expertise, organizing seminars, conferences, and workshops, and conducting joint scientific studies and research.
