With an official invitation from the Chairman of the United Nations General Assembly to deliver "in-person" and "original" speeches:
Mr. Dr. Sheikh Mohammad El-Eisi, Secretary General Islamic World Solidarity Organization, President of the Muslim Scholars Association,
Arrived at the United Nations Headquarters in New York today, where he will be delivering his speech on behalf of the Muslim people; the keynote address marking the International Dayof EatingIslamophobia, the first festival of its kind in the history of the United Nations, determined that it is actually the World Day Against Hate Islamophobia was adopted by the decision of the United Nations General Assembly.
After that, Mr. Sheikh convened bilateral talks with Mr. Philiman Young, the Chairman of the General Assembly, at the headquarters of the organization. At the meeting, the Speaker of the General Assembly said he was pleased to be invited to speak "in-person" at this important, first-of-its-kind global festival.
The invitation of Mr. Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Al-Esa to "attend" and deliver an "original" speech at the first-of-its-kind event at the United Nations Headquarters shows the international weight of the organization and the great respect and value it holds worldwide.
The call also shows the organization’s influence in the fight against “Islamophobia” and hate speech and acts in general, towards the organization’s wise, consistent and effective approach.
After that, the speeches of representatives of UN member states began, representing their government agencies' efforts to combat general hate speech and Islamophobia.
