Secretary-General of the Muslim World League Inaugurates the Second Consultative Meeting with Pakistani Religious Scholars

Islamabad:
His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, inaugurated the Second Consultative Meeting with Pakistani Religious Scholars under the title “Coordination of Positions and Unity of Stance.” The forum was attended by prominent Pakistani scholars from various sects. His Excellency Dr. Al-Issa explained that the forum represents one of the major milestones in implementing the contents of the “Charter of Building Bridges between Islamic Schools of Thought and Sects,” whose international conference was sponsored by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz — may Allah protect him. His Excellency emphasized the necessity of solidarity and unity of stance on the major issues facing the Islamic Ummah, which require a unified voice encompassing a coalition of scholars.

His Eminence explained that the forum seeks to highlight that the diversity of scholarly endeavors, within its legitimate framework, abounds in the works of scholars and believers—enriching the Islamic library in a way that reflects the tolerance and breadth of Islamic Sharia.
