His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, stated during his discussion with The Economist:

“The crisis in Gaza transcends a mere regional conflict; it represents a struggle over the hearts and minds of future generations, a struggle that risks being forfeited to mockery and hatred in the absence of resolute moral leadership today.”

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, stated during the Global Conference for Building Bridges between Islamic Schools of Thought and Sects – First Version:

“There is a pressing need for Islamic schools of thought and sects to find common ground that unites rather than divides them, through the shared principles of Islam. There is no unity more evident than that founded on the two testimonies, along with the other pillars and constants of Islam, and acting in accordance with their requirements.”

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, stated in the Sarajevo Declaration during the Balkans Regional Conference:

“Tolerance, coexistence, and peace are not optional; they are essential requirements for global peace and the harmony of national societies.”

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, stated during the commemorative lecture titled “Intellectual Developments Between East and West” at Cairo University:

“Unrestricted freedoms pose a threat to global peace and the harmony of national societies, particularly by inciting the clash of civilizations.”

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, stated during the Forty-eighth Session of the Grand Hajj Symposium:

“Sharia concessions represent a distinguished facet of Islamic jurisprudence. According to prevailing interpretations, they are defined as: ‘The legal rulings that have been adapted from their original legislative context to another, taking into account the specific circumstances of the obligated individual.’”

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, speaking from the pulpit of King Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan, stated:

“Many Muslims have powerfully conveyed the message of Islam through their actions before their words. Through their refined Islamic conduct, they have corrected false notions about their religion and responded to ignorance and malice with dignity, reflecting in the eyes of others the true essence of Islam.”

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, stated during the press conference for Asian media following the launch of the ASEAN Council of Scholars:

“We welcome every voice that contributes to peace and harmony in our world. We distinguish between political crimes—such as the bloody war in Gaza—and the followers of religions, so long as they oppose acts of criminality.”

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, speaking from the pulpit of the Grand Historic Mosque in Albania, stated:

“Righteousness, as defined by our Prophet (peace be upon him), is good character. It is a noble Islamic ethic—firm and unwavering—unchanged by differences in religion, race, or anything else. A Muslim’s character soars on the wings of mercy and grace.”

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, stated during his visit to one of the world’s most renowned refugee rescue vessels, accompanied by the Presidents of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the Italian Red Cross:

“This inspection tour takes place aboard one of the largest and most significant migrant rescue ships, positioned along one of the world’s most tragic and afflicted coastlines: the shores of Sicily. It aims to assess humanitarian needs, evaluate on-the-ground efforts, and verify the accuracy of field reports.

The ideas of the so-called political Islam are among the impediments to achieving comprehensive citizenship calling for coexistence and strengthening national cohesion around the world.

Religious and national identity complement and do not oppose each other Taking into account the purposes of our true religion that calls for peace and harmony, and recommends fulfilling covenants and pacts, merging of hearts and the equilibrium between good and harm.

In our widespread world, we need inclusive citizenship dialogue, since there is a lack of dimension from much in its details and interferences

His Excellency stated:

"The meaning of our human brotherhood is a sure bet to remove obstacles, narrow gaps, extend bridges, and strengthens our resolve to act on our human commonalities which constitute natural law."
