The award seeks to highlight outstanding efforts in the field of Qur’anic recitation and education worldwide, while promoting quality and excellence in both recitation and teaching.

It also aims to encourage specialists in the sciences of Tajweed, Qur’anic Qira’at, and related disciplines, as well as experts in Qur’anic education, by activating and supporting their contributions on a global level. In addition, the award contributes to the development of Qur’anic institutions and centers in accordance with recognized academic and professional standards.

Through its nine categories, the award targets Qur’an reciters and teachers worldwide, as well as Qur’anic organizations and institutions engaged in recitation and education, in addition to global centers and digital platforms specializing in remote Qur’anic recitation and learning.

The award is governed by clear scientific and regulatory criteria, implemented in accordance with the League’s established methodology to ensure the integrity and transparency of its processes. This is carried out in coordination with the relevant authorities in each country.
