His Excellency the Muslim World League’s Secretary General met with the leader of the National Tamil Alliance, Mr. Ruthamban, who expressed his gratitude for the efforts exerted by His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Alissa in promoting rapprochement among sects, particularly since there are large numbers of Tamil Muslims. For his part, Dr. Alissa highlighted the importance of boosting national harmony in Sri Lanka.
