The First Presidency and HE Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa engaged in dialogue on the shared values between all faiths, and the importance of emphasizing tolerance as a means to peaceful coexistence in the United States, the Middle East, and throughout the world. HE Dr. Al-Issa remarked that “We are happy to be partners and friends of the Church of Latter-day Saints, and look forward to working together for the causes of empathy, coexistence and harmony among the faiths and peoples of the world.” President Nelson said to HE Dr. Al-Issa: “You are a peacemaker. You are a bridge builder. And we need more leaders like you.”
