At the Muslim World League (MWL) Headquarters in Makkah, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, met with a delegation from the European Coordination Council (AMMALE), which includes representatives from 21 European countries and is headed by Mr. Chems-Eddine Hafiz, the rector of the Grand Mosque of Paris.
The meeting centered on topics of mutual interest, which led to the delegation commending the MWL’s dedication to serving Muslim communities worldwide—particularly in Europe. The delegation also praised the MWL's pioneering initiatives to foster stability and coexistence, notably through combating all forms of hate speech and Islamophobia, disseminating the contents of the #CharterOfMakkah, and implementing related initiatives that clarify the true message of Islam, its teachings and values.
