At the MWL headquarters in Makkah, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, met with Sheikh Qaribullah Nasir Kabara, leader of the Qadiriyya Order in Nigeria and West Africa, to discuss Islamic affairs in Africa and commend the MWL's efforts in founding the Council of African Scholars and the initiatives of the Charter of Makkah. During the meeting, they discussed various issues pertaining to Islamic affairs on the African continent. Sheikh Kabara lauded the MWL's efforts in unifying the Islamic world's stance, enhancing cooperation, and underscored the importance of concerted efforts and unity among African scholars in addressing intellectual and developmental challenges. Furthermore, the contributions of the MWL in establishing the Council of African Scholars, along with the initiatives and programs of the #CharterOfMakkah, were highly praised.
