His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, delivered a lecture entitled: "Islam and the West: The Urgent Need to Renew Dialogue in the Face of Geopolitical Turmoil"; in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Bertrand Louis, Chairman of the Forum, and a group of policy makers, intellectuals, and media professionals.

The lecture was followed by an in-depth dialogue that addressed a variety of pressing issues on the international stage, pertinent to the topics discussed as well as broader Islamic affairs. The participants underscored the civilizational and comprehensive importance of the #CharterOfMakkah, highlighting its representation of the global Islamic landscape and its sectarian diversity. In light of these discussions, they advocated for the extension of its publication and circulation to further its impact and reach across diverse communities.
