"We are all aware that the negative trajectories of sectarian disputes have not limited their tragedies to their perpetrators; their sparks have extended to harm Islam and Muslims in painful incidents that history has recorded in its dark pages. As Allah Almighty says: 'And fear the Fitnah (affliction and trial) which affects not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong (but it may afflict all the good and the bad people).'"
