H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa , Secretary-General of the MWL, met at his residence in New York with Prince Zeid Ra’ad Zeid Al-Hussein, President and CEO of the International Peace Institute (IPI)

During the High-level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly:

H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa , Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, met at his residence in New York with Prince Zeid Ra’ad Zeid Al-Hussein, President and CEO of the International Peace Institute (IPI).

During the meeting, they highlighted the important role of religious, intellectual, and community leaders, as well as peace advocates at large, in contributing to conflict resolution and promoting dialogue and mutual understanding among nations and peoples. They particularly emphasized the role that the international community must effectively undertake in this important endeavor, which directly concerns peace in our world and harmony within our societies.
