The Muslim World League gives the annual financial allocations for the orphans, as part of the "Orphan sponsorship" program in the African continent, which was launched by His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Alissa, the Secretary-General of the MWL, Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars. Tens of thousands of orphans have benefited from this program in Africa, which provides them with comprehensive care, healthcare and education programs with direct coordination with the government.
