The Islamabad Declaration, part of the initiative led by His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League titled 'Girls' Education in Muslim Communities

Under the patronage and presence of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and graced by the esteemed presence of His Excellency Sheikh Dr. #MohammedAlissa, Secretary-General of the #MuslimWorldLeague, the initiator and organizer of the event, this occasion was further distinguished by the participation of His Excellency Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, along with representatives from the government, parliament, and Senate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The Islamabad Declaration, part of the initiative led by His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League titled 'Girls' Education in Muslim Communities' #GirlsEducationMatters, marks the conclusion of debates regarding women's right to education. It establishes an unprecedented phase of active empowerment for women to exercise this right, receiving historic endorsement from senior muftis of the Ummah, leading scholars, their jurisprudential councils, and gaining support from representatives of Islamic bodies and councils, academic institutions, international organizations—both governmental and non-governmental—and prominent global activists. Among these supporters is the internationally acclaimed advocate for girls' education and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Ms. Malala Yousafzai.
