In response to invitations from leading global institutions of thought and scholarship, The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League Meets with Several French Ministers

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, received His Excellency Mr. Bruno Retailleau, Minister of the Interior of the French Republic, at his residence in Paris.
The meeting included discussions on a range of issues of mutual interest.
This engagement formed part of Dr. Al-Issa’s official visit to the Republic of France, during which he responded to invitations extended by prominent global institutions of thought and scholarship. The discussions addressed evolving matters relevant to the mission of the MWL, including the clarification of widely debated intellectual and religious concepts and the rectification of common misconceptions.
In the same context, His Excellency Mr. Gérald Darmanin, Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals of the French Republic, hosted a luncheon at the Ministry of Justice in honor of Sheikh Dr. Al-Issa.
The occasion featured discussions on various topics, including Minister Darmanin’s prominent intellectual contributions within France and across the French-speaking world, as well as his past and current responsibilities related to religious affairs.
Furthermore, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Al-Issa received Her Excellency Ms. Aurore Bergé, Minister for Gender Equality and the Fight Against Discrimination, at his Paris residence.
Their meeting focused on several shared areas of concern and interest.
Dr. Al-Issa also held discussions with His Excellency Mr. Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Paris.
Their dialogue covered a number of issues of mutual relevance and importance.
