The Muslim World League places great importance on supporting Muslim communities in countries where they constitute minorities by helping to build bridges between them and the broader national communities; This reflects, in practical terms, our Islamic awareness of the values of tolerance, coexistence, and respect for constitutions, applicable laws, and the cultures of the countries in which Muslims live or reside.

In doing so, the MWL proceeds from its mission and objectives as a guardian and supporter of Muslim peoples, as well as from their shared qiblah in Makkah. This is guided by the principles of its foundational charter and the contents of the Charter of Makkah, which has received broad global acclaim both within and beyond the Islamic world—particularly after the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation endorsed the charter and recommended benefiting from it in religious, educational, and cultural institutions.

The MWL also continues to strengthen its efforts in carrying out these responsibilities, especially in spreading awareness to counter extremist ideologies, while emphasizing the dangers of infiltration aimed at interfering in the affairs of these communities for external objectives that could harm their reputation and distort the true image of our noble Islamic faith.

Furthermore, the MWL seeks to reinforce these relationships and their noble values through its distinguished ties with governmental, legislative, and civil institutions, as well as with religious, intellectual, cultural, and educational leaders around the world.
