Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, delivered the opening address at the Third International Summit of Religious Leaders, hosted by His Royal Highness Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah & the PM, Mr. Anwar Ibrahim

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa delivered the opening keynote speech at the Third International Summit of Religious Leaders, held under the patronage and in the presence of His Royal Highness Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah and the Prime Minister, Mr. Anwar Ibrahim.

In his remarks, he emphasized the historic responsibility of religious leaders in addressing a number of issues vital to the peace of our world and the harmony of its societies. He reviewed some of the most significant of these issues and offered his reflections on them.

He also highlighted the important role entrusted to youth, particularly in addressing the risks associated with unrestricted exposure to modern technology, especially artificial intelligence, without intellectual resilience or ethical safeguards.

He also emphasized the importance of religious diplomacy in helping to defuse crises, stressing that the world does not need more weapons, but rather more wisdom to prevent their use.
