Auckland, New Zealand: Dr Al-Issa Tours Islamic Centre Site, Plants Olive Tree of Peace
Dr Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, toured the site of the Islamic Centre's first construction phase in Auckland and took part in planting an Olive Tree of Peace on the premises.
The centre will include a mosque and lecture halls, among them spaces dedicated to interfaith dialogue.
