This afternoon in the New Zealand capital, Wellington:

H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa , Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, was welcomed by the Māori, the Indigenous people of New Zealand, at the New Zealand Government precinct.

The welcome conveyed a message of hospitality to H.E., as well as appreciation for the MWL’s standing and its global role in promoting the values of coexistence among diverse cultures and communities.
