Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hosts Dialogue with the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League

The Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted an extensive dialogue with His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, at Egmont Palace in the Belgian capital, Brussels. Titled “The Importance of Dialogue in a Changing World,” the event was attended by a number of ministerial and parliamentary figures, representatives of European governments, senior religious leaders, as well as a number of representatives of international organizations, universities, and civil society experts.
The dialogue and accompanying discussion addressed a number of topics amid international changes and transformations relevant to the MWL’s areas of focus, mission, and objectives.
In the same context, His Excellency also met with His Excellency Mr. Maxime Prévot, Belgium’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation, who welcomed H.E. Sheikh Dr. Al-Issa to Egmont Palace before the international dialogue began.
