Dr. Al-Issa Encourages Authentic Stories in Media about Muslims

America Abroad Media presented HE Dr. @MhmdAlissa an award for his commentary about how Muslims are portrayed in Western films. His article in the Washington Post, entitled “To save Muslim lives, let Muslims tell their own stories,” was widely read. 

On behalf of HE Dr.@MhmdAlissa, HE the Under Secretary General of Corporate Communication, Mr. Abdulwahab Al-Shehri, received the award at a ceremony in Washington, D.C, in the presence of senior diplomats of countries represented in the US, executives of major media outlets & international filmmakers.
