At the Prime Minister's residence in the capital, Tirana, His Excellency Mr. Edi Rama, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, welcomed His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars. The Prime Minister invited the MWL to organize an international conference in Tirana to foster understanding and cooperation among civilizations. This aims to enhance global awareness of religious, ethnic, and cultural diversity, drawing on Albania's experience.

During the meeting, they explored several topics of mutual interest and expressed a warm welcome to Dr. Al-Issa in the Republic of Albania. The Prime Minister also commended the #MuslimWorldLeague's global efforts in promoting harmony among diverse societies.

Additionally, His Excellency the Secretary-General engaged in a round-table discussion and dinner with Albania's religious leaders, marking an unprecedented occasion that brought together such influential figures for the first time in Albania's history. This landmark event was attended by high-ranking Albanian ministers and esteemed members of the diplomatic corps, including His Excellency Faisal bin Ghazi Hefzi, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Albania, and the Vatican Ambassador.
