His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Alissa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, presided over the inauguration of the enhanced strategic plan and the modernized governance framework of the Muslim World League at its headquarters in Makkah.
This comprehensive development and modernization initiative reflects the League’s unwavering commitment to adapting to the evolving global landscape and to the expanding scope of its mission. In particular, the plan emphasizes the expansion of international programs aimed at promoting the implementation of the Charter Of Makkah and the Charter for Building Bridges Between Islamic Schools of Thought and Sects.
In his opening remarks, His Excellency underscored that the initiative is committed to advancing the MWL’s vision, mission, goals, and core values through a forward-looking strategy and governance model.
